Art creation is a kind of meditation for me, there is a negotiation between my plans and where the process takes me. I began my current series in 2015 with an unusual challenge, to not use brushes to apply the paint (except to sign the piece). I use wall spackling tools and plastic wrap. I have added pour / fluid style techniques for some of my pieces staring in 2019. I use acrylic paint and finish the art with layers of isolation medium to seal them with a final layer of varnish for protection. I use my art scans to create useable and wearable art: dresses, scarves, tote bags ... , as well as, reproduction prints on paper or gallery wrapped canvas.
